Hey Johnny, we really enjoyed the trip. The cooking (you’re cooking) was great. We had never been to the Bahamas before and didn’t know what to expect. You showed us a good diversity I believe. Thanks.
The snorkeling was good. Only thing I wish we could’ve been dropped off closer to the snorkel spots. But we understand the logistics of that. The weather was wonderful. There would just a little bit of rain every now and then. My favorite memory will be your cooking the coffee and of course barbarians pet barracuda (Sharky) ha ha. Thanks again for the experiences

What an experience Captain O’Brien. We are delighted to have experienced Christmas aboard the good old Zeus, Angela, Eleana, Doris and Daysi (Mom) and Bill (Dad). have all enjoyed every step of the way of our trip. We experienced wind, cold, warm and rocking back-and-forth, but it all just added to the memory we take in our hearts. All I know now is that I or we must do it again soon. Nine days of newfound memories we’ll forever call you Captain. We had so much fun at the islands and beaches, The fun never stopped with the kids on board so much fun packed in so little time was great. The food was so good and my kids loved it as did we. Thank you for, being a great chef until the next time we meet.
With great love and respect the Deleon family.

My experience with sailing Zeus was one of the most eye-opening, memorable, unique, and beautiful experiences that I’ve ever had in my life. You will never find anything like this.
Captain Johnny was an amazing host and it was one of the most laid-back chill and fun experiences I’ve ever had I highly recommend anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy the ocean breeze, the sunshine, great food, and great company. I was able to connect with my daughter in a way I couldn’t have done on a “regular vacation”. If you want a real life experience you cant beat this.

The Power Beneath the Sails: 75hp Yanmar Turbo Diesel Engine
When sailing the idyllic waters of the Abacos, there will undoubtedly be times when the winds are gentle or even non-existent. It’s during such moments that the sailboat Zeus leans on its trusty engine – the 75hp Yanmar Turbo Diesel.
Seamless Transition: While Zeus is primarily a sailboat, the integration of a dependable engine ensures a seamless transition from sail to motor. So, whether you’re maneuvering through tight channels, anchoring in secluded bays, or simply cruising when the winds are calm, the Yanmar engine ensures you can proceed with ease.
3. Quiet Operation: Despite its power, the Yanmar Turbo Diesel Engine operates with minimal noise, ensuring the serenity of the sea isn’t disturbed. This allows passengers to continue enjoying the tranquil ambiance of the sailboat even when the engine is in use.

Even seeing something like the Milky Way on a dark night can leave a lifetime impression..The waters of the
Abaco are completely safe for young children. Life jackets for the little ones and snorkeling gear for (5-12 year olds), teenagers and adults. It’s an underwater paradise! Absolutely! The Abaco Islands, with their tranquil and sheltered waters, are an ideal destination for families, including those with young children. Here’s why the Abacos are perfect for a family aquatic adventure:

Calm Waters: The surrounding barrier islands and the third-largest coral reef in the world keep the Sea of Abaco calm, minimizing large waves and strong currents. This provides a safe environment for children and less confident swimmers to enjoy the water.

Shallow Depths: Many of the beaches have a gradual slope into the water, allowing children to play safely in the shallows. Places like Tahiti Beach are particularly popular for families due to the shallow sandbars that stretch out quite a distance.

3. Underwater Wonders: For the teenagers and adults, the Abacos offer an underwater wonderland. Vibrant coral gardens, schools of colorful fish, playful dolphins, Spotted Eagle Rays, and even docile nurse sharks can be seen while snorkeling. Sites such as Mermaid Reef near Marsh Harbour are perfect for beginners, with an abundance of marine life in relatively shallow water.

Safety Gear: Ensuring safety is paramount. While many charter companies and resorts provide life jackets and snorkeling equipment, always double-check that they have the correct sizes for your Family and guests.
Learning Opportunities: The Abacos offer a fantastic opportunity for kids and teenagers to learn about marine ecosystems, coral conservation, and the importance of preserving our oceans. Many local tour operators offer educational tours and snorkeling trips
